European Echo’s first podcast begins relaying people’s experiences in the aftermath of Brexit. In an attempt to make something positive out of the mess, I started talking to friends and family about what their day was like when they found out Britain was leaving. But as the months passed and new the reality began to set in, these moments felt ever less immediate. Less immediate that is, until November 9th when the US had their own Brexit. It is useful again to focus in on the “where were you when that happened” moment. And to begin with we have my friend Matt, who will no doubt remember those few days for a long while.
